Our Leadership Team

Our Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, Kessiah, comes to DirectFIL with over 15 years of experience in the Healthcare and Well-being industries, leading her teams with empathy and power. She's held leadership roles in Strategy, Product and Portfolio Development, IT and Sales for fortune 500 companies including UnitedHealth Group, Optum and managing client success for Kaiser Permanente National. 

Kessiah is a relied-on resource to develop plans that drive growth in the Healthcare, Technology and Artificial Intelligence sectors. She's formed and led global teams from the U.S, the Middle East, Europe and Asia for the past 10 years with an impact of over $5 Billion in revenue. She has negotiated contracts with impact in the $100s of millions and lead the teams to develop the use-cases and product roadmaps for capitalization and investment.  

Kessiah is half Filipina and so our Filipino workforce staffing solutions are not only a business offering, but a passion she employs to honor her heritage and improve lives globally. Kessiah double majored in theology and computer information systems, receiving honors in her undergraduate studies. Afterwards she went on to garner global certifications in Project Management and Agile Product Development. We are honored to have Kessiah driving our vision and teams.  

Our Chief Medical Officer and co-founder, Dr. Brokish "Peter" is a rare find being a practicing ER physician as well as an IT executive who is a though-leader in the intersect of outcomes-based care using data sciences and Artificial Intelligence combined with medicine, to deliver solutions to the patient that improve quality of life and improve our client's KPIs.

Dr. Brokish is a sought-after frontrunner in the Healthcare, Technology and Pharmacy space; a physician who is technical having a deep understanding to the processes that underly the ecosystem of healthcare and including leading Kaiser Permanente's larger clinical programs. 

Peter holds executive roles in IT, Informatica, hospital Provider and Payer systems and recently as the Chief Medical Officer of an Artificial Intelligence firm and CMO for a Dallas, TX based ER and micro-hospitals conglomerate. Dr. Brokish leads MarketShare in the Urgent Care space and Mobile Physician sectors. His acumen in ER, Telehealth, Enterprise health systems is paramount to driving our client success and pipeline valuation.

Peter was trained at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine

Dr. Brokish is a practicing Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician and a HealthIT technologist, to which DIrectFIL is fortunate to have leading our teams. 

Our VP of Sales and Business Development, Bertina "Tina" comes to DirectFIL with over a decade of professional sales experience. As an executive leader in Sales, Tina leads strategy to identify partnerships and spearhead our Business Development and Sales Force initiatives. 

  Tina has an extensive passion and aptitude for leading sales and distilling contract value for DirectFIL's pipeline ensuring DirectFIL and partners top-line growth, while driving her customers success in KPIs, improving their P&L and doing so with empathy and intelligence. Tina is responsible for negotiating and executing contracts with an aggregate value of over $300Millon in the marketplace.

She is known among the nation's largest health and well-being employers for driving value but most importantly for her ethics, her compassion for community and her vision behind social good. Her portfolio includes Kaiser Permanente NorCal, Kaiser Permanente National, Blue Shield of California, K-12 Education Sector, Community & County Health sectors. 

Tina has an unmatched expertise in cultivating high-performing, sustainable teams and the proven knack for transforming ideas and inventions into services that create value and revenue. 

As a first-generation part-Filipina, Tina naturally resonated with DirectFIL's mission and vision, channeling her enthusiasm into collaborating with our global partners in the Philippines. Her goal is to bridge her ancestral homeland to the U.S marketplace. We are honored to have Tina leading our Sales and Growth vision.

 Bertina holds a degree in Political Science & Business Administration. Is an experienced facilitator, Organizational Development Consultant and Executive Leadership Coach.

  Our Strategic Sales Leader, Nathaniel "Nate", is our engine to understand the needs of the U.S marketplace and transform those needs into our solution offerings. Nate is a clinical practitioner with 20+ years of healthcare experience, leading staff development and as a practicing nurse for large California mental health hospitals and SNFs. Nate holds leadership position in acute-care and in-patient settings. He leads enrichment and staff development programs for California’s most important providers. He's worked with underserved communities and is a relied-on source to writing policy and reporting for investigations that he and his teams present to state legal systems. As the director of staff development, he builds capacity plans and ensures policy upholds compliance and patient care safety. This has led to his understanding to the needs of hospitals, clinics and mental health facilities, in staffing and improving operational indicators. Nate brings his connections and knowledge in the healthcare space to structure agreements for our clients that integrate DirectFIL outsourcing and staffing solutions.

Nathaniel holds a degree in Licensed Vocational Nursing with certifications in Intravenous therapy and with a discipline in clinical staff development from EVS, Dietary, Therapeutic, Nursing and administration disciplines.
